Lori Holt Gentler Times Seed Class

Do you love Lori Holt patterns and designs but just have no idea how to get started? Let us give you the start you need. This Lori Holt class will discuss cutting and organizing strategies to get you started for her pieced patterns. Using the new Gentler Times Quilt Seeds, the participant will bring their lightly starched uncut fabric and pattern to class and we will go through cutting and organizing techniques for success with Lori Holt patterns. We will then cut the fabric and start sewing the project focusing on the stich and flip method that is frequently used as well as pressing techniques to assist in the completion of the design.

| Instructor Bio: | My sewing and now quilting journey began probably like most of us when I was just a girl and my mother taught me how to sew. Learning how to make doll clothes, then my own garments as I grew up, and now quilting and other sewing techniques, my interests have expanded as I have transitioned through life. As my children left the house I turned to quilting to occupy my time. My sewing interests include machine applique, machine embroidery, piecing and quilting most anything, but Lori Holt has truly taken my heart. The fabrics and the stories behind her designs are those that I grew up with as well. |
