Another good source of inspiration for this quilt is to select a colorful theme fabric. Then from the theme fabric, select three contracting colors to use in the blocks then use the theme fabric for the border. Of course, red, white and blue are always a great combination!
Class Supply List
• Field of Stars pattern - provided with class
• Fabrics per pattern (Lori Holt Americana kits available in the shop)
• Sewing machine and basic sewing kit
• 45mm or 60mm rotary cutter with a sharp blade
• Rotary mat and 24” ruler
• Large 14” or 15” square-up ruler (to trim blocks)
• Fine point Permanent marking pen such as a Sharpie
• ½ yd Pattern Ease (ie pattern paper) - available for sale in the shop

| Instructor Bio: | Judy has been quilting forever, or almost forever!!! She has been a longarm quilting since 2001 and taught piecing and machine quilting classes for even longer. She moved to Overland Park in 2015 and has since retired from her longarm business. These days you will find her behind the sewing machine piecing quilts or behind a computer screen zooming quilts! |
