Snip, Serge, and Sew Class

If you have a serger that you haven’t mastered yet or are thinking that you would like to purchase one, this is the class for you.
Mary will help you with threading, understanding loopers, tension and how to make adjustments to your stitch. We will also stitch a rolled hem on a napkin, create decorative ladder stitch piecing and if time allows, ruffling.
Don’t have a serger? Come, observe, and take a test drive on the instructor’s.
Mary will also bring a trunk show of projects that can be created using a serger and cover stitch machine. She purchased her first serger in 1973 and has many tips that will help you become proficient at this wonderful part of your sewing adventures.
