Beginning Garment Sewing - Laureles Square-Neck Top/Dress
If you are looking to learn garment sewing techniques or just want a review, this is the class for you. This cute top or dress is really easy and quick to make. The pattern has options for different bra cup sizes from A to D. The top can be made with or without sleeves and the dress requires a simple addition of a gathered rectangle of fabric.
The sample in Quilters Bliss is size 12 with a C cup. The pattern can be adjusted for length easily.

For the past four years, she has taught beginner sewing, garment sewing, bag making, machine embroidery and various projects, including pillows, table toppers, placemats, and other home decor items. Mary is knowledgeable about all major brands of sewing machines, embroidery machines, sergers, and cover stitch machines. Additionally, she has over 40 years of experience teaching in public high schools. |
