Potato Chip Block Quilt Class
In this class, you’ll learn how to construct the Potato Chip block step by step and discover how simple fabric strips can come together to create a lively, eye-catching quilt. It’s a wonderful project for using up scraps, working with a favorite fabric collection, or simply enjoying some relaxed sewing time.
Whether you’re a confident beginner or an experienced quilter looking for a fun new project, you’ll leave class with blocks underway and all the know-how you need to keep stitching at home.
Precut fabric will be given for you to create your first test block. Potato Chip templates can be purchased for $5.00 from the instructor should you choose to. This is a great project to use up your scrap fabric.
Supplies Needed:
Sewing Machine with foot pedal and all cords
Travel Iron
Scrap Fabrics
Rotary cutter and mat
Ruler to cut 2 1/2 x 4 1/2 inch strips if not using the potato chip templates
