Christmas Goose Sewing Class

During class, we’ll build your goose step by step, including cutting and preparing your pieces, sewing curves, assembling and stuffing your goose, and adding the finishing details that give it personality. You’ll pick up helpful tips for working with dimensional projects along the way.

Choose fabrics that coordinate with your Christmas décor and make your goose traditional, whimsical, modern—or completely your own!

Instructor: Amy Pressly
Instructor Bio: Hello, my name is Amy, and I have been a crafter all my life. I grew up in a family of quilters and remember fondly my grandmother and her sisters hand quilting. I started quilting about nine years ago when my daughter was expecting our first grandchild. After one quilt, I was hooked. I am a retired educator who taught secondary mathematics for eight years and school administration for 26 years. I retired in 2022 so I could have more time to craft and spend time with my family. I love being able to use my teaching skills to help people learn to quilt. I can’t wait to get you hooked, too!
