Fabric & Materials

· Assorted cotton fabrics for the needle book exterior and interior*

· Batting or felt, as specified in the pattern* (I feel wool felt works better than craft felt. Quilters Bliss does not carry felt).

· Embroidery floss and needle (see NOTE below)

· Optional decorative trims or embellishments

· *If you are wanting more needle pages or additional add-ons than what is shown in the pattern, you will need to bring extra fabric/fleece/felt.

Note: If you desire to include embroidered elements in the book, I recommend you complete all hand embroidery work prior to class. Please let me know if you have any questions or need assistance.

Instructor: Shari Lentsch
Instructor Bio: Hi! My name is Shari and I’d like to say I’m threading life together one stitch at a time. Whether I’m quilting, sewing, embroidering, knitting, weaving, stringing beads, or working with silver, my hands are always busy turning simple materials into something meaningful and ‘my own’. I believe in the magic of making things! Like many of you, I thank my parents and grandparents for sparking my desire to ‘make’, along with my science career which has helped with quilting math, reading patterns, and solving the mystery behind sourdough baking. I look forward to meeting you and hearing about your journey!
